- Geesh. Where on earth did that come from? The difference between 8 bit and
- 16 bit is fairly noticeable even on cheap equipment. Nowadays, even 16-bit
- sound is going out of favour. Music companies are now using or moving to 22-
- bit digital sound for the master tapes.
